The distance to Deosai National Park is about 30 km from Skardu City, considered a short trip. If you take the route from Satpara to Skardu, it takes about an hour to reach Deosai.
You can reach Chillum via Astore Valley. There are two routes available from Islamabad by road through Naran and Babusar Pass and the Karakoram Highway.
The Babusar Pass is not accessible year-round. If you prefer not to travel by road, you can fly. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) offers flights connecting Islamabad with Gilgit and Skardu.
